There are several popular brands that fit under the category of this acrylic troweled finish, all of which have a slightly different look. My favorites are Lusterstone and Velvet Plaster. Others I like are Shimmered Stone, Shimmered Suede, and Jewelstone. These elegant and shimmery "plasters" give a visual texture but are usually applied very smooth to the touch, although textured looks are possible too. A variety of techniques can be used to apply these products in single or multiple colors depending on the look you want to achieve. This is popular with a lot of clients because it looks very expensive, but is one of the most affordable finishes available.
