Finish Samples
The perfect marriage of rustic and elegant. This finish starts with a rough, textured basecoat
applied in two layers. Then layers of authentic lime and marble Venetian plaster are applied on
top filling in most of the texture to a smooth finish, leaving only a few random areas open to
the rough texture. Then a tinted wax is applied to tone the finish, darken the open texture
areas, and add depth to the overall look. Stunning and unique. Because of the wax, this is an
interior only finish.

This is a real marble veneer on your walls that can be more of a honed finish or highly polished. Even
when highly polished, the shine is really only seen on an angle and is much deeper and richer than
anything you can ever get with faux plasters or paints. You have to see and feel this finish in person
and experience how amazing it is for yourself!

Finishes can be done on raw/ new wood or on existing stained or painted pieces. Many finishes can also
be done over MDF, plywood, or laminate. Why not update your quality but tired or dated looking
furniture and cabinetry with a special finish? Regular latex paint is just a bandage, but a finish can
add true value as well as beauty! We can redo your kitchen cabinets for half or less of replacement
costs and give them the look and feel of something much higher end than re-facing or even new, factory
finished cabinets. We use only the best quality products on the market for cabinets and furniture. Our
favorite brand is Jolie Home. The products look and feel so luxurious and the wax finish is easy to
maintain and very durable.
This finish resembles the ancient walls of Pompeii or the old walls of a warehouse in the French
Quarter of New Orleans. Layers of Chalk Paint&ref; decorative paint are troweled on and then washed
back revealing the layers below. We also do a twist on this finish called Elegant Fresco using a
single color and a tinted wax to give a softer look.

Heavy-duty craft paper is hand painted to order in a huge array of pre-determined
colors. Custom colors are also available for a nominal fee. The papers can be
applied as cut geometric designs such as rectangles, circles, or diamonds which
have a very contemporary look. The paper can also be applied in random sized
torn pieces with either a brown or black "tear line". This creates
subtle veining unique to this wall treatment. This look suits every decor. Walls
should be sized with a wallpaper size prior to installation. Very durable,
repairable and washable. Because it is a paper, it will minimize minor drywall
imperfections.
This is an inside or outside finish. When you see pictures of the buildings in Italian Villas
this is probably what you are seeing. The finish starts with a true lime plaster with a very
coarse texture and then an optional interest layer of texture can be added making it feel like
true walls of antiquity. The color can be mixed in with the plaster for a very subtle mottling
or applied on top in a lime wash for more mottling. Great for hiding minor drywall
imperfections.
Natural materials make for healthy living spaces. These plasters create a comfortable, soothing, Zen feel to any
room. LEED points prove they are "green" and truly environmentally friendly as well. Some of the products actually
improve air quality by reducing odors, regulating humidity and removing harmful toxins (like formaldehyde) from the
air. Eco de Vita products are SCS Certified Indoor Advantage GOLD.
Means little bits of marble. One of the oldest finishes in Italy and a true lime,
matte finish plaster. It has the
look and feel of unpolished stone and is in fact another example of limestone/ marble.
It is popular in Northern Italy. Hides minor drywall imperfections.
There are several popular brands that fit under the category of this acrylic troweled
finish, all of which have a slightly different look. My favorites are Lusterstone* and Velvet
Plaster. Others I like are Shimmered Stone, Shimmered Suede, and Jewelstone. These elegant
and shimmery "plasters" give a visual texture but are usually applied very smooth to the
touch, although textured looks are possible too. A variety of techniques can be used to
apply these products in single or multiple colors depending on the look you want to achieve.
This is popular with a lot of clients because it looks very expensive, but is one of the
most affordable finishes available.

Our newest finish—exclusive to Wallartistry! Inspired by the Scratch Plaster walls
favored by designer John Saladino, this finish is a more refined take having a subtle
linear appearance and smooth feel yet it looks slightly rough and rustic. It's delicious!
This is my best selling glaze finish. I call it my signature because I do it a
little different than anyone else I've seen. This finish is done on a satin/eggshell
finish paint and because the glaze that goes on top is translucent, the base color
is key to achieving the desired results. The colorwash works best with two shades
(lighter and darker) of similar colors.
An Italian plaster with a tinted wax topcoat. The look is a happy medium between the very textured and
polished plasters.
This award winning Wallartistry exclusive finish is great for adding a bit of interest to your walls
without a heavy look. More elegant than rustic. Great for hiding drywall imperfections, too.
